Wildlife Conservation

Every species driven into extinction is a heavy loss for our world. The world has seen a whopping 60% decline in the populations of animals within a span of only 40 years. The sad part is that we have been a major contributor in driving these species away from the face of our planet.
World Wildlife Foundation’s sole mission is to maintain the lives of our wildlife. Ever since our establishment, we have been in the works to keep the population of these splendid creatures in existence. Our members have been heavily involved with the sciences and even the local communities just to protect and preserve these animals.
Last year, the last surviving male northern white rhinoceros has died even before he had the chance to have …

Freshwater

As the world’s most invaluable and precious resource, sources of water should be protected from depletion. Water is vital to all life. It keeps living beings alive; needless to say, it is necessary for everyday use. From the production of food and materials to the air we breathe, water is needed to sustain us and every other living being.
Not only that; freshwater habitats are home to wildlife as well. These include streams, lakes, rivers, and underground water sources. These bodies of water store the water that is vital in sustaining our lives as well as other animals.
Approximately 50% of fish species known to man and over 10% of all known animals live in these bodies of freshwater.
Even though …

Climate

Climate change has caused our world’s resources to drastically deteriorate. Forests are being diminished each day through either wild or man-made fires; glaciers are melting, causing arctic animals to lose their habitats; ocean levels are rising as well as their acidity; our fresh water supplies are depleted, and our agricultural products are lowered immensely. This has brought the golfing community together for a fundraiser. They will be classes for midrange players as well as prizes such as rangefinders and balls.
This is all because of a climate that has been getting warmer each day. The world’s protective ozone layer has been reduced, allowing the entry of more harmful sun rays. Also, forests have been severely …

Food

One of our main sources of life is slowly becoming the main source of our downfall. How food is produced, distributed, managed, and turned to waste is a huge contributor to our planet’s destruction. This is why fishermen from around the globe have come together for a good cause. The fishermen have jumped off their chairs and donated trolling motors to raise money for endangered wildlife.
Land and water, the main habitats of our wildlife, are being tarnished and turned into industrial or agricultural areas just to keep up with heavy food demand. Now, at an astonishing 7.7 billion people, more natural resources are used just for human consumption.
In the following years to come, the demand will greatly double, thus …
